Homeowners who have a lawn know the value of a good lawn mower to help make the job of trimming it a breeze. We are not talking about the manual lawnmowers of the past that folks used to push around all day, grunting and grimacing. Imagine how that person felt at the end of the day? Yes, tired, tired, and tired. Instead of having a relaxing time doing some favorite hobbies, or reading a novel, it's spent cutting grass. Good thing somebody came up with a motorized lawnmower to make cutting grass a much easier and enjoyable chore. And better yet, they also made an electric start lawn mower.
A lawn and a lawn mower go together; a lawn without a lawn mower is not a lawn but a jungle. The electric powered lawn mowers are good for the environment, very quiet, easy to maintain, and doesn't guzzle expensive gas. They are available as the push type or ride on mowers.
The electric start lawn mower is classified into two types: the corded and the cordless. Both function much the same but differ in functionality, and are lot better compared to the gas powered lawn motor in many ways. Aside from being eco-friendly, it's also virtually noise-free, and operates better with its push button start. Gas powered lawn mowers generate a lot of noise, it belches smoke bad for people and the environment, and starting it requires great effort on one's part with all that rope pulling to make it work.
Between the two types of electric powered lawn mowers, the cordless types offers more versatility in covering a wider lawn area and ease of use since it is not restricted by a power cord that is attached to a wall socket or other power supply source.
Corded electric lawn mowers are a notch behind and at a disadvantage over its counterpart in terms of area coverage and convenience. Limited to the length of its power cord, the corded type proves to be bothersome when the cord needs to be repositioned to be able to reach another area for trimming. At other times, it may get snagged on a fallen tree branch or something, or might get mowed over when not noticed.
Choosing the electric start lawn mower over the gas powered type is really a no brainer. Just pick the size of the motor to suit your lawn trimming demands, corded or cordless, and you're set to trim your lawn in style, comfort, and with ease.
